Located in Bonneville county, Idaho Falls is the largest city in Eastern Idaho. In regards to population Idaho Falls is in fifth place after Idaho Falls, ID with more than 56,800 people according to the 2010 Census.

Business Week designated Idaho Fallas on their 2010 List as "Best Places to Raise Kids". Followign that, Forbes.com chose Idaho Falls on their list as "2010 Best Small Places for Business & Careers".

The city has a few higher educational opportunities such as Eastern Idaho Technical College, founded in 1969 as a vocational technical college. Stevens-Henager College and University of Phoenix have also opened local resource centers in order to aid students in online degree programs.
